Jaguar Land Rover of Freeport Has Broken New Ground and is Making History on the South Shore



Jaguar Land Rover of Freeport is bringing high-end SUV’s back to the South Shore in a major way. The new Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Freeport will be one of the first in the country to feature the new conceptual design created exclusively for the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. In over 35,000 square feet, this high end, cutting edge dealership layout will feature a 15-car showroom, a 22-bay service department with 3 lane service drive up area, rooftop parking, Jaguar and Land Rover loaner cars, complimentary automatic car wash, and a premium customer hospitality center.

At the helm of this grand undertaking is Jack Weidinger, Dealer Principal of Jaguar Freeport, Jaguar Great Neck and North Bay Cadillac Buick and GMC. No stranger to the industry, the Weidinger name has been associated with the luxury car business on Long Island for over 78 years.

“There hasn’t been a Land Rover dealership on the South Shore since 2009,” says Weidinger. “This development will bring Land Rover sales and service back to the South Shore with an extremely high-end design and our reputation for business excellence and customer service. It’s a great opportunity that is happening in our 78th year in the Jaguar business.”

Expected date for the Grand Opening is set for early Spring of 2017 and will be kicked off with a series of events, including a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Jaguar Freeport dealership is open for business during the construction and selling and servicing our current Jaguar customers out of temporary on-site facilities. The site of the new Jaguar Land Rover Freeport dealership is located at 146 West Sunrise Highway, Freeport, NY.
